EVERETT — No one was injured after a small plane made a rough landing at Paine Field on Thursday morning, airport officials said.
Around 10:19 a.m., a Cessna 337 Skymaster “landed hard” on the main runway at 10700 36th Pl. W, according to Paine Field’s post on X, formerly known as Twitter. It was unclear if there was damage to the aircraft.
Only the pilot was on board. Just before the hard landing, the pilot had reported issues with the aircraft’s landing gear.
The runway reopened by 11:30 a.m. Airport officials advised passengers to check in with Alaska Airlines for any changes in flight schedules.
The incident comes weeks after another Cessna crashed in the Japanese Gulch area near Mukilteo, about a half-mile north from Paine Field.
