MONROE — A pedestrian died after being struck by a train in Monroe on Friday morning.
Three intersections with railway crossings — at Kelsey, Lewis and E Main streets — were closed for about two hours while authorities investigated the scene of the fatality, which occurred around 6:15 a.m., Monroe police reported via social media.
Information about the person who died was not immediately available.
