Historic Everett offers “Out of Town Series: Mukilteo Memories” at 10 a.m. Saturday at Rosehill Community Center, 304 Lincoln Ave. Historian David Dilgard will lecture, then lead a walk or drive to Pioneer Cemetery.

It costs $10 or $5 for members. At the cemetery, storytellers will share stories.

Spruce up off-leash dog area: Volunteers are needed to prune and weed the off-leash dog area Saturday at Willis Tucker Park.

The work is planned for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 6705 Puget Park Drive in Snohomish.

Bring gloves, pruning shears, buckets, wheel barrows and other tools. No power tools are allowed. Dogs and children are welcome but should be supervised.

Mukilteo residents to be honored: Alice Marie Andersen and Phyllis Sherar Anderson are scheduled to be honored as Pioneers of the Year at the Mukilteo Historical Society meeting at 7 tonight at Rosehill Community Center on the corner of Third Street and Lincoln Avenue.

They’ll also ride a Model T Ford in the Lighthouse Festival Parade on Sept. 12.
