SEATTLE — A Seattle man has been charged with second-degree murder for allegedly shooting a homeless man and leaving his body in an isolated ravine south of downtown in the Highline area.

The Seattle Times reported Friday that Malcolm McGee, 25, is being held in lieu of $1 million in connection with the death of Keith “Ice” Ayson, 58.

McGee was charged last month with felony drug possession.

Charges filed in the two cases say the killing might have happened over an $8 marijuana deal witnessed by a King County Sheriff’s deputy the day before Ayson was killed, or an argument stemming from McGee offering to pay Ayson’s girlfriend $5 for sex.

Charging papers say Ayson’s decomposed body was discovered July 11 by a man walking in the 10000 block 17th Place South where the road dead-ends at Highway 599.
