SNOHOMISH — A Snohomish man died after his vehicle crashed into a tree around 8:40 p.m. Saturday, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
Colton R. Mayhew, 26, was the only person in the car. No one else was injured. He was driving a Mitsubishi Lancer, sheriff’s office spokesperson Courtney O’Keefe said.
He reportedly lost control of the vehicle, which left the road and struck a tree in the 9100 block of Trombley Road, east of Snohomish. He died at the scene.
While the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office released Mayhew’s name Monday, the cause and manner of death have not yet been determined.
