MONROE — Police are searching for three people who stole heaps of iPhones from a Monroe store Friday night.
Two men and a woman walked into the Sprint store on U.S. 2 and said they wanted an iPhone X, according to a news release from the Monroe Police Department.
The clerk started showing the woman the phone. Then the employee heard noises from the back room.
The men walked out with their arms full of iPhone boxes. One threatened to hurt the worker if he was touched. As the group ran out, one man ripped two more phones from displays.
The incident was reported around 7:30 p.m. Police searched the area, but were unable to find the suspects. The group was recorded on the store’s surveillance video.
