Run from the Gordito: Taco Bell, which has made a name for itself with its Doritos-flavored taco shells and late-night “fourth meal” nachos, announced that it will now cater to eaters looking for healthier options that meet federal nutritional guidelines for calories and fat.

Taco Bell isn’t actually changing anything on its menu, but for a minimal charge it will save you from the fat and calories by designating a teenager to eat the taco for you.

Consider it performance art: The Louvre was closed Wednesday after workers walked off their jobs to protest the increasing plague of pickpockets frequenting the famed Paris museum’s galleries. Tourists, disappointed by the closure, milled around the museum entrance.

But the gaggle of tourists brightened the day of the pickpockets who had been chased out of the museum.

Just scratching the Surface: Microsoft’s Windows 8 software is getting some of the blame for a recent dive in sales of PCs. Because the operating system is meant for touchscreen monitors, consumers are skipping pricier PCs and buying tablets, laptops and smartphones.
