Burbank column misses point on ST3 car tab tax

Regarding John Burbank’s April 19 column in The Herald about Sound Transit’s car tab tax, the point is that Sound Transit deliberately chose a value depreciation scale knowing full well that it was inaccurate. Now they are whining about the potential loss of revenue. Perhaps Peter Rogoff and Co. will be more circumspect about mining for project funds in the future.
