Community health centers’ services a burden on taxpayers

I read a recent newspaper ad regarding the five Snohomish County community health centers. I drove by them, too. Nice facilities. They offer a wide range of services to low-income and the non-insured. (No doubt, illegal aliens, too.)

I am also aware of the Verdant Health Commission that offers many health services. They have offered unnecessary freebies like free swimming lessons (not means-tested) to many local school kids. Swim lessons are a parent’s job.

Where does the service overlap end? Are these duplicative agencies and providers?

I see an ever increasing government bloat on my real estate tax bill. Do you?
