Coverage should promote patriotism

What exactly do you have against the USS Abraham Lincoln? First when they deployed, you buried a miniscule article about them in your paper. All other news sources thought that it ranked as a top story.

Then, on August 17 you publish a front-page article about the protest in Japan (“Protests greet aircraft carrier”). Many protestors in Japan are actually paid to protest. The vast majority of Japanese citizens support the U.S. forces in Japan.

This is a time when you should be promoting patriotism. Where is your support for your local heroes? I personally am offended – shame on you and your paper.
