Excellent. Not!

Excellent
How bad is today’s job market? So bad that even seasoned mid-career professionals are taking unpaid internships in hopes of keeping their skills from rusting and maybe, just maybe, landing a paying gig.
We wish them luck, but we also can picture bosses like Mr. Burns of “The Simpsons” gleefully rubbing their hands together and saying something like, “Unpaid interns? Now that’s the ticket! Smithers! Bring me more unpaid interns!”
Scam alert: With Facebook’s initial public offering coming in 2012, government regulators warn of con artists selling bogus shares of the social network behemoth.
So if you’re weighing a tempting offer, be advised that Facebook’s corporate headquarters are not located in Lagos, Nigeria.
Heavy load: Built during the New Deal, the Deception Pass bridge is a marvel of engineering and extremely well built, even though it was designed for 1930s traffic, state bridge inspectors say.
Somewhere, the bridge’s designers must smile every time the Wydend family drives on it in their 2010 Chevy Tahoe.
