From the start, Garner a super kid

Regarding Amy Garner, Super Kid on April 18: It was my honor to be Amy Garner’s fourth- and fifth-grade teacher at Quil Ceda Elementary in Marysville. She was then, and will always be a “super kid” to me. Her empathy, compassion, humor, perspective and drive at that young age made it clear to me that she was someone special and would do special things. It was so good to read about her future plans for college and career. And, of course, she would help those in need, because she has always been a person who cares about others. How wonderful it is to have an alternative school for such a super kid! Well done, Marysville Public Schools. Good luck, Amy.
