The Zonta Club of Everett Foundation recently held its 27th annual auction, “Autumn Mystere, Masked Auction,” raising more than $45,000 for service agencies in our community.

President Janice Henning and auction co-chairs Carol Dreysse and Pat Allen and the members of the Zonta Club of Everett want to publicly thank our dedicated volunteers, business contributors and auction attendees for helping us to raise money to fund programs and services that make our community a better place to live.

Proceeds from the auction will benefit Catholic Community Services of Snohomish County, Deaconess Children Services, Little Red Schoolhouse, Pacific Treatment Alternatives, Project Self-Sufficiency, Snohomish County Center for Battered Women, Stillaguamish Senior Center, YWCA Pathways for Women and local educational scholarships. A portion will also be distributed to Zonta International service projects in Afghanistan and Bosnia-Herzegovina and funding young women scientists completing advanced degrees in aerospace engineering or related fields.

Zonta International is a worldwide service organization of business executives dedicated to improving the status of women. The Everett chapter of Zonta was established in 1929 and has contributed more than $650,000 to our community.
