Newspapers stating facts, not a liberal bias

To those who continue to claim that The Herald (and other newspapers) have a “liberal slant,” it bears reminding that facts have no bias. They simply are. Journalists report objective facts (the adjective definition). Columnists express opinions about facts, but reporters merely report them, and if later there is discovered to be an error, they print a retraction of said error.
Just because you don’t like the facts, or choose to disbelieve or disagree with them, doesn’t make them untrue nor does it mean they are “biased.”
