One-party county is frustrating

Election time is here, however, it is difficult for any conservative-minded individual to get excited about casting a ballot in Snohomish County. This county has basically become a one-party county.

Why would any self-respecting person want to subject themselves to the embarrassment, let alone spending the time and money, running for a position in the Snohomish County government on the Republican ticket? I am convinced should the Republican party be able to reincarnate George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, John Wayne, Dwight Eisenhower (or you pick someone) and run him for a Snohomish County office on the Republican ticket against a yellow dog running on the Democratic ticket, that the yellow dog wins in a landslide.
