On Nov. 22 there was a celebration (memorial service) for the life of Steve Deller. Our family deeply appreciates the concern and love expressed by many people at the service, by phone, e-mail and letters. It’s great to be part of a caring, supportive community.
There have been hundreds of contacts and in practically every case there has been the statement, “Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you.” As Steve’s brother, John, said at the service – “There is something each person can do.”
If there is a rift between you and your family members or a friend; if there is a problem or a difference between you and your fellow worker; if there is a neighbor on your block you do not know – reach out today. Take the first step.
By showing the love that now may be missing, especially at the beginning of the holiday season, you will have shown there is something you can do for Steve, for our family and for yours.
