Selfish drivers are dangerous

Published 1:10 pm Tuesday, February 9, 2016

To those of you who drive in traffic with your brights on, run red lights, try to cut in line and/or play with your phone while driving; the rest of us would like you to know that we matter, too. We are going to our destinations and would like to arrive safely and on time. So if you can’t drive in the prevailing weather, or need to speak to someone or have an argument, or look at directions, please pull over or find other transportation. Our traffic system works best when everyone follows the rules and pay attention.

Thanks, from a survivor of way too many close calls.
