The sewer smell that plagues north Everett across from Naval Base Everett has been happening since 2019 or longer! The fact that city of Everett can’t figure out what it is, is unacceptable and frankly egregious to every home owner, renter and community member who already has to put up with a houseless fentanyl crisis up and down Broadway and Rucker. We deserve better!
As tax-paying citizens we should feel safe in our community. From homelessness, to petty and property crime, to break-ins (in my garage and storage units) to cartel drug lords, endless-gun violence, now we are helpless to have to keep enduring this sewer smell? The city council needs to be ousted as does the mayor of Everett if these things can’t be improved or even eliminated!
