Thanks to Everett schools for help teaching at home

Thank you, Everett Public Schools! As we all maneuver through these truly challenging times, you have been amazing.
Our family’s specific experience is with Evergreen Middle and Everett High School, who, in the midst of caring for their own families since schools closed on March 16, have been making sure their students are also OK and have been helping them to keep brain and body active.
We are so fortunate in Everett that our middle and high school students were previously provided with Chromebooks allowing students to hit the ground running. The technology, coupled with those that make it operational, maintain it, instruct us, as well as those that ultimately teach the kiddos with it, are amazing, and your efforts put our kids a step ahead.
In addition, today the EHS staff sent the greatest video to their students letting them know they are missed, giving additional activity ideas, and encouraging them to stay strong. As a grandma finding herself in the throes of home schooling, your support is amazing and so appreciated.
P.S. To the Everett Herald staff and delivery persons, thanks so much for continuing to keep us informed and up to date!
