There is a distinction regarding ‘My body, my choice’

Regarding the letter regarding the “My body, my choice” slogan applied to pro-choice and vaccination campaigns, I have a difficult time understanding how a woman’s choice to terminate a pregnancy could possibly affect someone’s health. On the other hand, if she chooses not to get a vaccine, she puts everyone in her orbit at risk of a very serious, potentially fatal disease. Also, except for the aforementioned serious, potentially fatal disease, there is no “punishment” for not getting a vaccine.
