Trump’s twisted views now belong to Republican Party

It’s a little hard to believe the vitriol and hatefulness coming out of some folks on the right these days. But then again when you look at who their leader is and what they will believe it’s not quite so surprising after all. Donald Trump has brought out the worst in folks who used to confine their views to whomever would listen at their favorite bar or the poor unfortunate sitting next to them on the bus. They never had a hero who made it to the White House before but now Trump has given them a voice.

For sure, the Republican Party that I once knew is not the MAGA crowd. Whatever happened to respect for the rights and opinions of others, or the rule of law? It’s all gone to make way for the hate for those that don’t look or think like they do. The worst of them are already trying to kill those that differ.

The bad behavior is not a Republican Party exclusive but It’s really hard to believe that especially the honest hard-working folks of rural and middle America who usually preferred the GOP anyway but now endorse and believe such a sick and twisted human being like Trump, who’s never been honest and whose values have never been their values.

Now the Republicans have the Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, Patriot Front, etc, etc, whose views are obvious: They’re anti-immigrant, anti-anyone not white, and led by a political party with the most spineless pols ever to make up an American political party whose party platform is keep their job at any cost. Again, not a Republican exclusive but with leaders like this I truly and genuinely fear for our nation and so should you.
