We’re all in for a rude awakening

In response to Mike Morehouse’s Oct. 1 letter (“Attack on America: A strong response is clearly due now “). The barbarians and vandals have succeeded to get past the gates of modern Rome, i.e. the U.S.A.

A rude awakening for us.

Does anyone really believe the parties in question will disband the terrorist organizations and hand its leaders over to us or even to some international court?

Not a chance.

We must go after the terrorists and the countries that harbor them, with or without international support, just as our president put it, so aptly.

If we don’t, even worse tragedies could and perhaps will occur in the future.
