Whidbey-Mukilteo bridge is needed

Regarding traffic congrestion, I think the cure to at least a portion of the problem would be to build a toll bridge from Mukilteo to Clinton on Whidbey Island. There is already a bridge on the north end of the island (Deception Pass), so the new bridge would complete a circulatory route across the island. The taxpayers would be much better off and only the people who use the bridge would pay for it.
