Everett AquaSox outfielder Zach DeLoach was named the High-A West’s player of the month for June.
The 2020 second-round draft pick out of Texas A&M University batted .363 in 21 games during the month of June, with one home run, one triple and 12 doubles. He had 10 multi-hit games over that span, along with a .442 on-base percentage and .549 slugging percentage.
DeLoach, ranked by MLB.com as the No. 11 prospect in the Seattle Mariners’ organization, has reached base safely in 20 consecutive games and has recorded a hit in 19 of his last 20 games.
The left-handed hitting DeLoach is batting .300 this season, with five home runs, two triples and 18 doubles. He has the fourth-highest batting average in the six-team High-A West.
