LAS VEGAS — Fighting her first match in nearly a year, Glacier Peak graduate Miranda Granger lost to Ashley Yoder via unanimous decision (30-26, 29-27, 27-26) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
Granger, who fights out of Charlie’s Combat Club in Everett, entered the match ranked as the 36th-best female strawweight in the world, according to Tapology.com. Yoder was ranked 25th.
After a perfect start to her professional career, the loss was the second straight for Granger. She fell to Amanda Lemos on Dec. 21 and then dealt with a bout of blood clots that threatened her career. Granger is now 7-2 overall and 1-2 in UFC fights.
