EUGENE — After Everett rallied to tie the game with four runs in the top of the seventh inning, the Eugene Emeralds responded with two run in the bottom of the inning and held on for an 8-6 win over the AquaSox on Friday night at PK Park.
Ben Ramirez and Alberto Rodriguez hit two-run doubles in the seventh as the AquaSox evened the game at 6-6.
But in the bottom of the inning Adrian Sugastey homered to give the Emeralds back the lead and Ghordy Santos tacked on an RBI double to make it 8-6.
Everett (20-22) loaded the bases with one out in the top of the ninth, but Walking Cabrera grounded into a double play to end the game.
Logan Wyatt added a home run in the game for Eugene (23-19).
