Prep boys swimming: 4A District 1 prelims

MARYSVILLE — At the Wesco boys swimming prelims, Matt Roe of Stanwood took first in the 200-yard freestyle (1:46.01) and 500-yard freestyle (4:42.38). Kamiak set a meet record en route to victory in the 200-yard medley relay (1:39.06). Harvey Bryan of Snohomish won the 100-yard fly (51.49, meet record). The finals will take place Saturday at Marysville-Pilchuck High School.
