SULTAN — Anisa Uberuaga scored off an assist from Abby Jenkins in the 70th minute to give King’s a 1-1 tie with Meridian after regulation, and the Knights earned the victory in the ensuing shootout in a bi-district tournament match on Saturday.
Maddie Nielson came up with a few big saves in regulation for King’s and stopped the winning shot in the shootout.
King’s will play Seattle Academy for the bi-district championship next Saturday at Sultan. The match will kick off at 3 p.m.
