REGINA, Saskatchewan — Austin Roest scored with just over 5 minutes left in the game and the Everett Silvertips hung on to beat the Regina Pats 3-2 on Saturday in the second game of their Eastern Conference road trip.

The teams traded goals through the first two periods, with Jesse Heslop and Jackson Berezowski scoring for the Silvertips, and Borya Valis and Connor Bedard finding the back of the net for the Pats.

Braden Holt started in goal and stopped 27 of 29 shots for Everett (8-4-0-0).

Drew Sim made 21 saves for Regina (6-7-0-1).
