Past Everett Silvertips taken in the first round of the NHL draft.

Peter Mueller, center

Picked: Eighth overall by Phoenix in 2006

Now: Had seven goals and nine assists in 32 games with the NHL’s Colorado Avalanche after missing more than a year because of concussion symptoms.

Leland Irving, goaltender

Picked: 26th overall by Calgary in 2006

Now: Made his NHL debut by appearing in seven games for Calgary, going 1-3-3 with a 3.19 goals against average and .912 save percentage. Also went 22-13-2 with a 2.67 goals against average and .902 save percentage for Calgary’s AHL affiliate in Abbotsford.

Zach Hamill, center

Picked: Eighth overall by Boston in 2007

Now: Had two assists in 16 games with Boston. Also had eight goals and 13 assists in 41 games for Boston’s AHL affiliate in Providence. Was traded in May to Washington in exchange for Chris Bourque.

Kyle Beach, winger

Picked: 11th overall by Chicago in 2008

Now: Had five goals and five assists in 19 games for Chicago’s AHL affiliate in Rockford, missing most of the season because of a shoulder injury.
