VANCOUVER, B.C. — Hogan Windish hit a go-ahead three-run double in a five-run fifth inning, homered twice and drove in six runs as the Everett AquaSox opened a six-game series on the road with a 10-4 win over the Vancouver Canadians on Tuesday at Nat Bailey Stadium.
Windish finished 3-for-5 with three runs scored and Tyler Locklear added a solo home run for the AquaSox, who fell behind 4-0 after the first inning before storming back for the win.
Sam Carlson started on the mound for Everett (14-13), but lasted only one inning and allowed four runs on four hits with three walks. Kelvin Nunez came on in relief and tossed three scoreless innings with just one hit allowed to earn the win.
Estiven Machado had three hits and Alex De Jesus drove in two runs for Vancouver (14-10).
