1 seriously hurt in apparent fireworks blast by Lake Goodwin

LAKEWOOD — A woman in her 30s suffered serious hand injuries Friday afternoon after an apparent fireworks accident.

Raymond Lund, 95, a World War II veteran who served in Europe, including landing on the beach at Normandy on D-Day, sits in a rocker at his home in Stanwood.
