City, officers in contract mediation

A contract mediation session between the city of Mill Creek and the police department’s patrol officers union is scheduled to take place today, Friday, Feb. 11.
A state mediator is coming in to help with the discussions, interim city manager Mike Caldwell said. Today’s session is the second one between the city and the patrol officers.
City officials cannot talk specifics about the negotiations or what kind of issues are on the table, Caldwell said.
