Northwest country music singer Gerry Andal has opened a new family restaurant in Stanwood. Located at 27021 102nd Avenue Northwest (formerly Blazing Saddles Restaurant). The new restaurant, which was changed from Blazing Saddles to simply Gerry Andal’s, is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food service starts at 6am with standard American breakfast and lunch items. For dinner, guests will find a full selection of moderately priced steaks, seafood, chicken and pasta, as well as a special selection of items Andal calls “Down Home Cookin’” featuring pot roast, turkey and several other comfort food favorites.

In addition, Gerry Andal’s offers catering, banquets and lunch delivery. Andal and his band will be playing country and old time rock n’ roll music on Friday and Saturday nights starting at 9 p.m. He brings more than 15 years of restaurant experience with him, from his restaurants in Everett, Auburn and Olympia, and from the Longhorn Bar and Grill in Seattle’s University District. Andal hosted his own country music television shows, and has multiple country music albums to his credit. For more information, call 360-629-6569.
