Arts foundation scholarships open
The Foundation For the Arts in Mill Creek is awarding two scholarships to high school seniors from Jackson or Archbishop Murphy high schools for visual or performing art.
The first scholarship is the Jeanine Cyr Art Scholarship, named in honor of the foundation’s founder. This is a four-year scholarship in the total amount of $4,000, of which $1,000 of this amount will be awarded each year. The second scholarship is a one-year scholarship in the amount of $1,000. Proceeds to fund the scholarships come mainly from the Arts Alive show each October.
Applications are available in the guidance office at either school and must be submitted to the foundation scholarship committee no later than April 15.
