Stanwood’s Skagit State Bank closing

The Stanwood branch of Skagit State Bank is closing this spring. A bank spokesman indicated a lack of growth in the market for the decision.
The Burlington-based bank continues to operate a branch in Arlington, as well as branches in Skagit and Whatcom Counties.
