EVERETT — The police tactical response team converged on a house in the 2500 block of Lombard Avenue Friday when a neighbor reported seeing three armed men go inside.

It turned out that the three men were carrying a paintball gun and there was no crime, Lt. Greg Lineberry said.

One man was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant, and police surrounded the house for about three hours because a 16-year-old girl inside would not come out.

When she finally did come out, about 2:30 p.m., she was arrested on a felony warrant for burglary, Lineberry said.
