Correction

Canada grants a student pilot permit at age 14 and a full pilot’s license at 17. An Associated Press story on Page A2 on Sept. 27 about two Southern California boys who flew to Canada and back incorrectly stated Canada’s rules. The story also incorrectly stated the role of the licensed pilot who accompanied the boys. He was responsible for commanding the flight, according to a Federal Aviation Administration spokesman.
