William R. Taft, president of Everett Broadcasting Co., which owned KRKO, was wielding the knife on the anniversary cake held by new station manager, Warren Johnson.
Mabel O’Bryan and Delia Stephenson were among the local residents who attended the Pacific Northwest Writers Conference in Seattle last week. Among the 65 noted authors who attended or took part in the program of panels and workshop sessions was Kenneth Dodson of Mukilteo, who wrote “Away All Boats” and “The Call of the Sea.”
25 years ago (1982)
Frontier Bank, which was celebrating its fourth anniversary in September, announced a pair of appointments: Lyle Ryan of Marysville was vice president and manager of the recently opened Arlington office and Thomas Cave of Everett was assistant vice president and manger of the downtown Everett office.
