“Remember Me?” — a comedic farce about infidelity — makes its Northwest premiere this weekend at Edge of the World Theatre in Edmonds.

Written by Sam Bobrick, the show centers on this question: Can a married woman really be cheating on her husband if the man exists only in her mind?

Mary Hanson, an interior designer who thinks she is a happily married, is visited one morning by a ex-boyfriend, Peter Lawrence, who dumped her 25 years ago. The old flame ignites some dormant passions in the once complacent Mary. She goes for a passionate kiss but her husband Brian pops in, surprising the two.

The catch is, Brian can’t see Peter. Mary explains that Peter is there, but apparently just in her mind. Brian tells her to get him the heck out, then the fun ensues, because Peter has no intention of leaving.

The cast includes Jack Hamblin, Tellier Killaby, Gregory Magyar and Stephanie McBain.

“Remember Me?” opens at 8 tonight at Edge of the World Theatre, 9667 Firdale Ave., Edmonds. Shows are at 8 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, 4 and 8 p.m. Saturdays and 7:30 p.m. Sundays through Sept. 15. $22, $19 senior. 206-542-PLAY.
