ARLINGTON — Will Heath and Max Morin won a 7-3 tie-breaker in the third set at No. 1 doubles to give the Arlington Eagles a 4-3 Wesco North meet victory over Monroe on Monday.
“It was a great match,” Arlington coach Ben Mendro said of Morin and Heath’s contest. “It was back and forth (the whole time).”
Morin and Heath were up 4-2 in the third set before dropping three straight games to make it 5-4. But the pair rallied to tie and force the tie-breaker.
Mendro added this was the first two-match winning streak he could remember during his tenure at Arlington.
“It was a nice win,” he said.
