LYNNWOOD — Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man who robbed a bank in Lynnwood on Tuesday.

The man, who was filmed by bank security cameras, is described as a large-framed black man in his 30s, about 6 feet, 2 inches tall, Lynnwood Police Department spokeswoman Shannon Sessions said.

The man is suspected of robbing a Wells Fargo bank in the 2600 block of 196th Street SW about 5 p.m. Tuesday. Nobody was hurt, and the robber did not appear to have a weapon.

Wells Fargo is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the robber. Police are investigating whether the robbery may be connected with others in the area.

Anyone with information is asked to call Lynnwood Detective Jerry Rittgarn at 425-744-6924 or 425-744-6900.
