Marysville: City plan to be discussed
The Marysville City Council is scheduled to discuss 10 possible changes to the city’s Comprehensive Plan at its work session today.
The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Marysville City Hall, 1049 State Ave. Plans to be discussed include land-use and transportation plans for the Smokey Point area.

Stanwood: Sign up for Girl Scouts
A registration night for Girl Scouts is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Stanwood Middle School.
This is the last chance this fall for Stanwood girls ages 5 to 17 to register.
Parents and other adults are needed to form troops and are invited to attend the event.
No prior experience is required. Training will be provided.

Teen film series continues at library
The Stanwood Library’s teen film series continues Wednesday with a 2004 action film about a wall-crawling hero. The movie is free and snacks will be provided.
The movie starts at 3:30 p.m. at the Stanwood library, 9701 271st St. NW.
