Icy Felton was elected master of the Green Wood Grange for the coming year. Named to other posts were Rudolph Carlson, Merna Price, Randy Pike, John Jones, Laura Knutson, James Price, Albert Pedersen, Oscar Soderquist, Nellie Jones, Elbertine Carlson, Neva Pike and Rhesa Mesirne.

25 years ago (1982)

Bill Langford, 65, climbed onto his motorcycle early today and started on a bit of a trip — some 22,000 miles to South America and back. The Marysville man expected the trip to take several months and planned to stop only where the road ended at Puerto Montt, Chile.
