LYNNWOOD — A Pierce County man is $2,500 richer after turning in a man suspected of holding up a Lynnwood bank in September.

Officials from Wells Fargo Bank in Lynnwood offered a reward for information leading to the arrest of the man who robbed the bank Sept. 18. Surveillance photographs taken during the robbery were published in the media.

The Pierce County man recognized the man seen in the photographs, Lynnwood police spokeswoman Shannon Sessions said. He called police, who later arrested an Everett man, 45, for investigation of robbery.

The bank made good on its promise and handed the Pierce County man a $2,500 check on Thursday.
