Answers about property taxes
Questions abound about how the 1 percent limit on property taxes affects individual property taxes.
To provide some answers about the complex topic, the Department of Revenue has published a Q&A guide online. Go to http://dor.wa.gov; under “Features,” click on “How the 1% property tax limit works.”
Gold Star Mothers offer grief support
Washington State Gold Star Mothers is a support group for mothers and families of military personnel who have died while serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The nonpolitical group seeks to help its members remember their loved ones with the support of others who are experiencing a similar loss.
