GOLF: Koppenberg leads County Am

Jake Koppenberg, an Everett High School graduate and a member of the Western Washington University golf team, shot a sizzling 5-under-par 65 today for a two-shot lead heading into Monday’s final round of the 78th-annual Snohomish County Amateur golf tournament. Koppenberg leads defending champion and three-time winner Alex Stamey by two strokes going into the final 18 holes at Everett Golf and Country Club.
