Moya and Steyh

Anne M. Moya of Snohomish and Tyko Phillip Steyh of White Center plan an Oct. 4 wedding in Granite Falls.

Their parents are Ceferino and Diane Moya of Snohomish, and Mr. and Mrs. Steyh of White Center.

Anne is a computer graphics designer at Expedia.com. Phillip is a chef at the Opera House in Seattle.

Anniversary

Walker

Don and Ella Walker of Monroe will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Sept. 10.

The couple were married Sept. 10, 1948, in Edmonton, Alberta.

Don and Ella both graduated from Brockville Bible College in Ontario, Canada. Don then received his master’s from Seattle Pacific University. He was a school administrator for 30 years and worked at various schools in the Seattle, Lake Washington and Snohomish school districts.

Ella worked with the Alberta Boy Scouts until moving to Seattle. She then worked at Coast Mortgage and Investment Co. and spent 17 years employed by Snohomish County at the Evergreen State Fair. For seven of those years she was fair manager.

The couple enjoyed raising Limousin cattle, and showing in the U.S. and Canada.

Don and Ella have five children, 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
