Arlington: Spring cleaning disposal

Your ticket’s in the mail. With your water-sewer bill, that is.

The city’s popular spring cleanup day is set for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 13 at the 188th Street NE entrance to Arlington Airport.

To get in, though, people need to hang on to a voucher being mailed out with their monthly utility bills and bring it with them to discard old items.

Acceptable items include refrigerators and freezers, printers, copiers, microwave ovens, keyboards, recyclable metals, old furniture and tires.

TVs, monitors and computers can be disposed of free at the North County Transfer Station, 19600 63rd Ave. NE, Arlington.

Cash donations will go to help pay Lee’s medical expenses. Donations of homemade items, baskets and purchased items will be accepted for a future silent auction.
