See vintage planes at a discount

Here’s a great place to take out-of-town visitors in December if they’ve had their fill of blinking lights: The Flying Heritage Collection at Paine Field in Everett.

Museum visitors will get 50 percent off the ticket prices all month with a coupon available only at www.flyingheritage.com.

The museum, housed in a restored hangar at the southeast corner of Paine Field, boasts one of the largest collections of flyable vintage planes in the country, including famous fighters and old warbirds.

The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays this month (except Christmas Day). The e-coupon may be used for up to six tickets, which are $4 to $6 with the discount.
